David Beador Obtains Restraining Order Against Estranged Wife
David Beador, known for his connections to the reality TV franchise, has been granted a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, Lesley Beador. This decision came on June 17, requiring Lesley to maintain a distance of 100 yards from David, his residence, and his workplace.
David, who is 60 years old, filed the request for protection in court, hoping to ensure a safe environment for himself and their 4-year-old daughter, Anna Love. The court’s ruling also allows David to have custody of Anna from Friday mornings to Sunday evenings.
Additionally, the court mandated that Lesley must leave David’s home in Newport Beach, California, and stay at their Montana residence with her children from a prior relationship for the rest of the summer.
In his court filing, David expressed concerns about the motivations behind their marriage, suggesting that Lesley sought a lavish lifestyle through their relationship. He stated, “In our case, it’s not just a cliché; Lesley married me for my money. This has been clear to me.”
David further alleged that Lesley has tried to manipulate him regarding their daughter. He claimed that Lesley uses Anna “as a tool to extract more money from” him and has previously attempted to persuade him to dismiss past domestic violence actions.
Back in June 2023, Lesley filed for divorce and a restraining order against David, accusing him of making threats and engaging in hostile behavior towards her and their child. However, David responded by stating their relationship has been filled with intense arguments that led him to genuinely fear for his safety and that of their daughter.
David also claimed that Lesley has physically harmed him in the past. He described a troubling incident from June 10, during which a disagreement escalated, leading to physical conflict. The situation reportedly led to Lesley leaving for Montana and later indicating she wanted a divorce.
As his claims unfolded, David described how a recent argument over money and personal disputes suggested a pattern of behavior from Lesley that he found concerning. He noted that after their confrontation, she threatened to seek a three-year restraining order against him.
The court has scheduled a follow-up hearing on July 8 to discuss whether the temporary restraining order will be made permanent.
This case sheds light on the complexities surrounding domestic relationships and the legal protections available to those seeking safety and stability.
