Country Singer Drake White and Wife Share Heartbreaking News of Baby Daughter’s Passing
Country singer Drake White and his wife, Alex, are grieving the loss of their baby daughter, Della Elizabeth White. The couple shared their heartbreak on social media, revealing that Della was born prematurely at 29 weeks and passed away shortly after her birth on August 31.
In a post on Instagram, Alex expressed gratitude for the moments they were able to spend with their daughter, stating, “Della went peacefully to be with Jesus. We are so thankful for the holy moments God gave us with her.” The couple shared a touching photo of themselves holding Della, emphasizing the deep love they felt for their newborn.
Alex recounted that the Lord was particularly close to them during this challenging time, providing strength to navigate their grief. “We are heartbroken but know we will get through this with the peace and joy that only our Heavenly Father can give,” she wrote.
The couple had previously announced their pregnancy in May, revealing that they conceived through IVF. They are also parents to a 2-year-old son, William Hawk. Drake and Alex’s journey to parenthood has been marked by struggles, including health challenges and fertility issues they have faced over the years.
They had hoped for their daughter to join their family in November, but instead, they are left with cherished memories of a brief but meaningful time with Della. During this painful period, they find solace in their faith and the support of their loved ones.
