Dave Coulier, the well-known actor from “Full House,” is sharing his story about beating cancer, not just once, but twice. He says that catching the cancer early was key to saving his life.
Coulier, who is 66, announced recently that he is now cancer-free after dealing with two cancer diagnoses in the past two years. He emphasizes how important it is to pay attention to your body and not ignore subtle changes.
He noticed some warning signs and, thanks to his wife Melissa’s encouragement, he went to the doctor. They caught the cancer early, which made a huge difference.
Coulier was diagnosed with a type of tongue cancer in October 2025, shortly after recovering from non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Doctors found a tumor during a checkup, which turned out to be unrelated to the lymphoma.
After undergoing radiation and surgery, Coulier is now in remission. He says it’s a great relief because dealing with two different cancers in a short time was tough. He didn’t want cancer to take away his physical and emotional well-being.
Coulier is now a strong supporter of early cancer detection. He believes it can save lives and prevent a lot of pain. He has also become an ambassador for cancer research and hockey-related cancer charities.
Coulier also talked about starting his own business, AWEAR Market, after learning about toxins in everyday products.
He realized that many products contain harmful chemicals, and he wanted to offer safer alternatives.
Coulier admits that dealing with cancer made him feel vulnerable, especially as a man who is used to being strong for his family. He learned to accept help and be open about his struggles.
