It seems even in Hollywood, opinions on President Trump are varied.
Actor George Clooney said that he and Donald Trump used to be friendly. He recalls Trump calling him and trying to help him get medical assistance. Clooney noted that Trump was a “goofball” back then, but that has changed.
Despite these remarks, Trump has received support from other well-known entertainers.
Kid Rock stated that he felt Trump’s re-election marked “the rebirth of our nation.” He added that many in Hollywood are now more comfortable expressing their support for the President.
Carrie Underwood sang “America the Beautiful” at President Trump’s inauguration, expressing her honor to be part of the historic event. Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany have also shown their support for the President.
President Trump has also appointed Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone as Special Ambassadors to Hollywood, with the goal of bringing business back to the area and restoring it to a “Golden Age.” These ambassadors will advise the President on how to make Hollywood bigger and better than ever before.
