An Arizona chef will spend time in prison for the deaths of his estranged wife and their two young children.
Anthony Milan Ross, who is 53 years old, was found guilty by a jury in Maricopa County. He was charged with killing Iris Ross, who was his ex-wife, and their two kids, Nigel who was 11, and Anora who was only 10 months old. The crime happened on Christmas Day in 2017.
Besides the murder charges, Ross was also found guilty of hurting three other people and of attacking a police officer 17 times. Reports say that Ross shot at police officers in Phoenix, who shot back. This happened after police entered his apartment and led to a long standoff.
The sad event happened shortly after Ross shared a happy video on Instagram. In the video, he and his son Nigel were singing a Christmas song.
Before the killings, Iris’s sister said that Ross had been acting strangely and threatening Iris after she asked for a divorce.
