King Charles has spoken out regarding his brother Andrew’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein.
The Thames Valley Police are looking into claims that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may have shared private information related to his job as a trade envoy with Epstein. King Charles says he is very worried about these new claims.
The palace released a statement saying the King is deeply concerned about the allegations against Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor. They also mentioned that if the police ask for help, they will be ready to assist.
The police investigation raises questions about whether Andrew’s royal status might have made it hard to separate his public duties from his personal life.
The Thames Valley Police confirmed they received a report and are checking the information.
Recent reports suggest that Andrew shared private details with Epstein between 2010 and 2011. Emails show Andrew sending Epstein information about his trade envoy trips shortly after receiving them himself.
A royal expert suggests this could lead to legal problems. They noted that if Andrew shared confidential business information with Epstein’s aide soon after receiving it, the anti-monarchy group Republic might have a case.
It’s also been said that Andrew has many businesses and accounts overseas, making him a wealthy man. One of these interests was Pitch@thePalace Global Ltd., where Andrew was the main beneficiary.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have also expressed deep concern about the recent news related to Jeffrey Epstein. A spokesperson stated that the Prince and Princess are very worried about the ongoing revelations and are thinking of the victims.
