FC Barcelona Welcomes Back João Cancelo
FC Barcelona has announced the return of João Cancelo to their team. The agreement, finalized on Tuesday, brings the Portuguese player back to the club on a loan from Al Hilal until the end of the current season.
Cancelo is not new to FC Barcelona, having played for them during the 2023-2024 season. This time around, he will wear the number 2 jersey. His return gives the team’s coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, another choice for the right-back position. Recently, Jules Koundé has been playing this position for many consecutive games without a substitute readily available.
