“90210” Stars Reflect on Friendship and Reconciliation
Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling, known for their roles on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” recently shared insights into their long and sometimes fractured friendship. The actors, who played love interests David Silver and Donna Martin, were close during the show’s run but drifted apart for nearly two decades.
Green admitted that a lack of self-confidence played a role in their separation. He explained that he wasn’t mature enough to confront any potential issues between them, making it easier to simply lose touch.
After 18 years of silence, the two reconnected and have since rebuilt their bond. They now offer each other support and advice, particularly as they navigate the challenges of life after divorce. Green, who finalized his divorce from Megan Fox in 2021, feels he can offer guidance to Spelling, who recently settled her divorce from Dean McDermott.
Green emphasized the importance of looking forward rather than dwelling on the past. He expressed gratitude for their renewed friendship, praising Spelling’s loyalty and positive outlook.
The pair had planned to co-host a ’90s-themed party in Las Vegas, celebrating the era before the internet dominated social interactions. While the event was postponed due to Spelling’s illness, it reflects their shared desire to reconnect with a simpler time. Green stated he wouldn’t give his younger self any advice, because everything that he’s gone through has led him to the point that he’s at now, which he loves.
