Brad Pitt Unveils Buzzcut at Premiere for New Movie ‘F1’
In an exclusive interview at the New York City premiere of his latest film, F1, Brad Pitt opened up about his striking new buzzcut. The 61-year-old actor explained that the haircut is part of his transformation for a character in his recent project, saying, “I just finished a job. It’s for a character we did.”
Pitt arrived at the red carpet event looking sharp in a navy blue suit and a crisp white shirt, complementing his new look with a stylish satin pocket square. He was first noticed sporting the buzzcut while driving around Los Angeles last month, and the new hairstyle has certainly drawn attention.
At the premiere, Pitt was accompanied by his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. The couple made a rare joint appearance on the red carpet, with de Ramon showing her support in a sheer halter top and a feathered skirt, paired with a chic white Chanel purse.
During his chat, Pitt reflected on his experiences filming F1, where he portrays Sonny Hayes, a Formula 1 driver seeking redemption after nearly three decades away from the sport. He shared exciting memories from iconic tracks, including Silverstone and Spa in Belgium, expressing how thrilling it was to be part of such renowned racing venues.
He noted the unique feeling of being behind the wheel in high-speed driving, describing it as a “strange calm” that provides a sense of peace when hitting all the right points on the track.
The official synopsis of F1 reveals that Haynes was once the “most promising phenom of the 1990s” until a devastating accident changed his life. Thirty years later, he’s approached by a former teammate who is in dire need of help to save his struggling racing team.
The film features an impressive cast, including Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, and others, with F1 hitting theaters on June 27.
