Border Patrol Agents Stand Strong Amidst Criticism, Remain Committed to Protecting Communities
Despite facing harsh words from the media and some politicians, Border Patrol agents are standing firm in their commitment to keeping our communities safe. According to National Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez, these dedicated officers are eager to assist in efforts to remove illegal immigrants who have committed crimes.
Perez emphasized that agents understand the danger these individuals pose to the entire country. He noted that the Biden administration’s policies have led to a surge of people entering the U.S., and many were not properly vetted. This has resulted in a situation where dangerous criminals are now living in communities across the nation.
Even with the added challenge of dealing with agitators and protestors, Perez says morale remains high among Border Patrol agents. They are willing to go where they are needed, including cities far from the border, to support law enforcement partners and protect American citizens.
Perez also pointed out the negative impact of the harsh rhetoric directed at law enforcement. He explained that the families of Border Patrol agents are affected by doxing and protests, but that the agents remain resolved and are not backing down.
Border Patrol agents believe they have strong support from many Americans who understand the importance of border security and the need to remove dangerous criminals from our country. These agents are dedicated to their duty, and they are committed to keeping our communities safe and secure.
