U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Department of Justice has received a large cache of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This comes after a recent release of files that many felt fell short of expectations.
During an appearance on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, Bondi confirmed that the FBI delivered a significant amount of information after she had requested all relevant documents to be submitted by Friday morning. “I gave the FBI a deadline of Friday at 8 a.m. to get us everything,” she stated, explaining that they received the documents just in time.
Bondi described the new files as a “truckload of evidence,” and emphasized that the FBI is currently reviewing them. She mentioned that Director Patel will provide a comprehensive report on why these documents were withheld until now.
“The public needs to know the truth,” Bondi asserted, stating that they will review the files diligently to protect Epstein’s victims. She criticized the previous administration for failing to act on the documents, indicating they had been sitting unexamined for far too long. “I want a full report on that,” she said, highlighting a need for transparency and honesty in these matters.
The release of these Epstein files has been met with disappointment from some quarters, with critics expecting more significant information, such as a list of Epstein’s associates. Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna expressed frustration on social media, stating, “This is not what we or the American people asked for, and a complete disappointment. We need the information we asked for!”
As the investigation continues, Bondi remains committed to uncovering all details and ensuring that the public has access to the facts surrounding Epstein and his network. “It’s a new day, and everything’s going to come out,” she affirmed, insisting that Americans deserve to know the truth.
