On Christmas Eve, former President Joe Biden shared a family photo, but the way it was arranged raised some eyebrows online.
The photo showed the Biden family in front of a Christmas tree. Hunter Biden, the former president’s son, was placed in the very front, making him the most visible person in the picture. Former First Lady Jill Biden stood in front of the former president, partially covering his face.
President Biden’s post said, “Wishing you a peaceful and joyful Christmas Eve filled with joy.”
People online quickly started talking about the photo. Some felt it was odd that Hunter was so prominently displayed, while the former president was somewhat hidden.
One person online wrote, “Took me a while to find ya, champ,” referring to how hard it was to see the former president.
Another person commented, “I think it’s disrespectful to put the eldest family member in the back of a photo taken for the former president’s social media.”
Some people made jokes, comparing the photo to a “Where’s Waldo?” puzzle.
However, not everyone was critical. Some people sent well wishes to the Biden family, hoping they had a peaceful and joyful Christmas. One person said, “Wishing you and your family a peaceful and joyful Christmas. Your strength and love inspire us all.”
