Beyoncé Makes History with Record-Breaking Cowboy Carter Tour
Beyoncé’s recent Cowboy Carter Tour has set a new record as the highest-grossing country tour of all time, with over $400 million in ticket sales. The 43-year-old music superstar managed to sell 1.6 million tickets across just 32 concerts in nine cities in North America and Europe.
The tour celebrated her 2024 album, also titled Cowboy Carter, and included performances in major cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Atlanta, as well as two stops in Europe—London and Paris. Notably, this tour is also the shortest to surpass $400 million in earnings.
The three-hour show featured over 40 songs and special guests, including her husband Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus, and her daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi. The production showcased grand designs, including a mechanical golden horse and elaborate stage setups that wowed fans.
Before releasing Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé shared how the album took five years to create and was inspired by her experiences in the music industry. She noted how music has the power to unite people and emphasize the importance of musical history.
At the 2025 Grammy Awards, the album earned Beyoncé three awards, including Album of the Year, a category she had been nominated for four times previously. In her acceptance speech, she expressed gratitude to her collaborators and dedicated her win to Linda Martell, the first Black female country singer, highlighting the importance of paving the way for others.
Looking ahead, Beyoncé has received a nomination for the upcoming Emmy Awards, competing against Jay-Z in the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) category for her Netflix performance, marking her first live rendition of songs from Cowboy Carter.
As the Queen of modern music, Beyoncé continues to break barriers and redefine genres while inspiring countless fans around the world.
