A video from a red carpet event is raising eyebrows, suggesting that tensions within the Beckham family might have been brewing for longer than we thought. The video, taken at the premiere of a Netflix show about the Beckhams in the U.K. last year, shows David and Victoria Beckham with their son Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Body language expert Bianca Cobb analyzed the video, pointing out subtle cues that hint at possible unease. She noted that Victoria Beckham appeared serious and detached, while David Beckham seemed to be subtly comforting himself, or perhaps his wife, by intertwining his fingers with hers.
This comes after Brooklyn Beckham recently made some serious claims on social media, suggesting a rift with his parents. He alleged that his parents have been trying to sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz.
Cobb also pointed out that Brooklyn seemed “a little uncomfortable” during the photo op, fidgeting with his jacket, that could be interpreted as a sign of nervousness.
Of course, it’s impossible to know for sure what was going on behind the scenes based on a short video. But it does offer a glimpse into a family dynamic that seems more complicated than the picture-perfect image they often project. These types of family disagreements are unfortunate, as strong families are the cornerstone of our society. We can only hope that the Beckhams find a way to resolve their differences and come back together.
