A woman in Texas is in trouble with the law after a fire at an apartment complex.
Officials say the woman, who has not been named, got into an argument with her boyfriend. Afterward, she allegedly took some of his clothes and burned them in a barbecue pit on the apartment’s balcony.
Even though she tried to put the fire out, it started up again and spread. The flames damaged 13 apartments, and some had serious damage from fire, smoke, and water. In some places, the second floor even fell onto the first floor.
The woman was taken to the hospital, but it’s not clear why. One firefighter was also hurt and taken to the hospital, but they are expected to be okay.
Authorities are looking into what happened.
