Arnold Schwarzenegger recently shared a light-hearted moment during Amazon’s Upfront 2025 Presentation in New York City. The 77-year-old actor, known for his dynamic career and past role as the governor of California, joked about his popular holiday movie, Jingle All the Way. He noted that the film is played throughout December, quipping that he knows this because his ex-wife, Maria Shriver, often contacts him about the movie’s residuals.
Schwarzenegger is set to return to the holiday film scene starring as Santa Claus in The Man with the Bag, which is scheduled to be released later this year. At the presentation, he proudly declared that Jingle All the Way is “the greatest Christmas movie of all time,” much to the delight of the audience.
In a recent interview about his relationship with Shriver, Schwarzenegger emphasized that despite their split, they have maintained a supportive co-parenting dynamic for their four children. They finalized their divorce in December 2021, after Shriver filed for it a decade earlier. Schwarzenegger took responsibility for the challenges in their marriage, clarifying that there was no feud — just his personal mistakes.
He reflected on their journey, stating, "My chapter with Maria will continue on forever," indicating that their bond remains built on mutual respect. The couple’s focus is on their children, ensuring they are not affected by the past.
Maria Shriver, who is also making headlines with her new poetry book, has expressed that she feels good about their current relationship and their shared commitment to their family. She mentioned the joy they find in laughing about their lives and being proud of their longstanding connection, which spans nearly 50 years.
In a time when family values are essential, Schwarzenegger and Shriver demonstrate that even through difficulties, maintaining a foundation of support and love for their family is paramount.
