Ariana Grande Dismisses Music Retirement Rumors
Ariana Grande, the popular Grammy-winning artist, is addressing speculation about her stepping away from music. After recently being confirmed for a voice role in the upcoming animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, she took to Instagram to clarify her intentions.
In a video from the 2024 Met Gala, Grande said, “It’s silly to think I would abandon singing and music just because I’m busy with other projects.” She emphasized that her music is “and has always been my lifeline.”
Despite being involved in various projects, including her latest film role, Grande reassured fans that music will always be a priority for her. She mentioned, “It may not look exactly like it did before, but I prefer how it looks in my head. I feel grateful and inspired.”
Grande is working on balancing her commitments and hinted at a small tour next year, indicating her desire to perform for her fans. “I’m planning to sing for you all next year, even if it’s just for a little,” she wrote.
Ariana is also set to reprise her role as Glinda in the upcoming Wicked film, scheduled for release on November 21, 2025, and will star alongside Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller in the fourth Meet the Parents movie.
This recent wave of roles and her upbeat message about music reflects a busy and fruitful time for this talented artist, dispelling any fears of her retiring from the music scene.
