Tragic Incident in Encino: Music Supervisor and Her Husband Found Dead
In a heartbreaking event, two individuals have been discovered dead in their Encino home, with authorities confirming they suffered gunshot wounds. The victims are identified as Robin Kaye, a music supervisor known for her work on American Idol, and her husband, Thomas DeLuca.
The Los Angeles Police Department conducted a welfare check on their residence located on White Oak Avenue on July 14. Upon arrival, officers found both Kaye and DeLuca with fatal injuries, and they were pronounced dead at the scene.

Robin Kaye had a significant career in the music industry, contributing to American Idol from 2002 to 2023. She also worked on Lip Sync Battle and various pageants, including Miss USA and Miss Universe.
Neighbors reported an attempted break-in just days before the incident, raising concerns about safety in the area. One resident mentioned that their renter saw someone trying to hop the fence and alerted the authorities.
