Mayor Adams Responds to Schumer’s Claims After Brooklyn Bridge Incident

When pressed by the interviewer about Schumer’s claims regarding budget cuts, Adams responded, “Unless the senator knows something that I don’t know, I don’t see how those cuts played a role.” He reiterated that all necessary resources were deployed quickly to assist those affected by the incident.
The tragic collision, which occurred as the Cuauhtémoc struck the historic bridge, was first reported on Saturday. Despite the chaos, local agencies were able to evacuate the 19 injured sailors effectively.
