Ree Drummond is showing her husband Ladd some holiday love with a gift that’s quite personal. The star of “The Pioneer Woman” recently shared her Christmas surprise for Ladd, and it appears she went all out.
On December 20, Ree gave her Instagram followers a preview of her festive gift. In a series of fun clips, she revealed two beautifully wrapped boxes adorned with a bright red ribbon.
“Want to see the gift I got for Ladd?” she playfully asked her audience.
As she opened the boxes, viewers discovered an impressive stash of Carmex medicated lip balm. Ree meticulously arranged the bright yellow containers and even squeezed in a few extra on the side.
She humorously noted, “Ladd’s biggest fear is a zombie apocalypse—not because of the zombies but because he wouldn’t be able to get Carmex.”
But she wasn’t finished there. The next clip showed her filling a second box with even more of the lip balm, which she pointed out is known for its smooth application and moisturizing properties. Her conclusion? “Nice box + his favorite personal product = The perfect present.” This is a clever approach to gift-giving that many can appreciate!
Ladd Drummond, a cattle rancher, spends a lot of time outdoors, so this thoughtful gift of lip balm will surely come in handy. The couple, who have five children and are now enjoying their time as empty nesters, also take time to relax together in their new outdoor hot tub on their property in Oklahoma.
As she wrapped up her posts about the gift, Ree made a cheeky remark in cautioning viewers not to spill the beans to her husband, who is not an Instagram user.
Adding to their joy this holiday season, Ree and Ladd recently welcomed their first grandchild. Their eldest daughter, Alex, gave birth to a daughter, Sofia Maria, with her husband Mauricio on December 18.
Ree celebrated the joy of becoming a grandma, expressing gratitude with a touching post about the new addition to their family.
With their growing family and meaningful gifts, the Drummond household is certainly filled with holiday cheer this year.
