Four players stood out by scoring in double figures: Loyal McQueen led with 17 points, followed by Tessa Miller with 15, Anya Poole with 12, and Mia Moore contributing 10 points. Defensively, Clemson was relentless, forcing UAB into 19 turnovers which resulted in 36 points for the Tigers. The team quickly took control of the game, scoring a three-pointer just minutes after UAB started the match. McQueen and Moore worked well together in the first half, combining for 23 points and helping the Tigers build a strong lead.
The Tigers had a notable 12-0 scoring run that lasted over four minutes, showcasing their teamwork and offensive skills as multiple players contributed to the scoring. Clemson capped off the game with a powerful 15-0 run in the last quarter, further extending their lead. Raven Thompson’s layup late in the game marked the Tigers’ biggest lead of the night at 42 points.
