Shocking Plot Among Young Girls to Harm Classmate
In a startling incident in Arizona, four fifth-grade girls allegedly planned to harm a classmate during recess. The attempted plot reportedly arose from jealousy over a breakup and cheating allegations.
According to a police report, the girls, aged 10 and 11, were students at Legacy Traditional School in Surprise, Arizona. The incident is said to have taken place on October 1, 2024. The girls agreed on a disturbing plan, which included designated roles for each participant. One girl would bring a knife, another would act as a lookout, while a third would actually carry out the act in an outdoor bathroom on school grounds. A fourth girl was tasked with forging a suicide note to cover up the attack, and they had even discussed wearing gloves to avoid leaving any fingerprints.
Fortunately, some attentive classmates overheard the plan and alerted school officials. When the girls’ backpacks were searched the next day, their scheme began to unravel. They were questioned individually in the presence of their parents, which revealed the full extent of their intentions.
The report noted that three of the girls expressed remorse for their actions, while one reportedly laughed and made excuses. All four girls were arrested for making threats and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. They were released into their parents’ custody and suspended from school as they face the possibility of expulsion.
At this time, school officials have not commented on the situation. The investigation continues as the community grapples with this unsettling event.
