A 19-year-old man, Jaylen Mosley, has been charged in connection with the tragic carjacking and murder of a 70-year-old man in Georgia. Authorities say that Mosley, who is also wanted in Texas for other offenses, allegedly shot the elderly victim while attempting to steal his car on Saturday night.
The incident occurred in the commercial area of Metropolitan Parkway in Atlanta around 6:40 p.m. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save him, the victim later died from his injuries at a local hospital.
Police apprehended Mosley shortly after the attack. He now faces serious charges, including murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during a felony, armed robbery, and hijacking a vehicle.
