A woman in Spartanburg County has agreed to a plea deal related to a shooting incident involving a person in a vehicle. Shanesha Gladden faced three counts of attempted murder from an event in 2022.
In a recent court appearance, one of the attempted murder charges was reduced to two counts of assault and battery, while the other two charges were dropped. Gladden’s brother, Corey Rice, expressed his sorrow over the situation, saying he loves his sister and recognizes the consequences of her actions. He added that the women involved were aware of the risks when they approached Gladden’s home.
The judge approved the plea, and Gladden has been sentenced to serve 13 years in prison, with a credit of two and a half years for time already spent in custody.
