A tragic accident in Piedmont, California, has claimed the lives of three young college students just before Thanksgiving. The victims have been identified as Soren Dixon, Jack Nelson, and Krysta Tsukahara, all of whom were recent graduates of Piedmont High School. The Piedmont Police Department reported that the students were involved in a single-vehicle crash that led to their vehicle catching fire.
Officers responded to the incident after receiving multiple alerts, including a 911 call and notifications from mobile devices. Upon arrival, they discovered a Tesla Cybertruck engulfed in flames. Unfortunately, three of the four individuals inside the vehicle lost their lives. The fourth passenger, 20-year-old Jordan Miller, sustained serious injuries but is currently in stable condition at a local hospital.
In response to this heartbreaking event, Piedmont city officials have expressed their condolences and emphasized the importance of allowing the victims’ families privacy during this difficult time. Mayor Jen Cavenaugh praised the community’s response, noting the overwhelming support shown during vigils and events held to honor the lives lost. “We must respect the wishes of the families to grieve privately,” she stated.
