QVC has announced a recall of over 1 million pairs of its “Temp-tations Oven Gloves” due to safety concerns. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that these gloves do not offer enough heat protection, leading to 162 reported incidents of inadequate coverage, including 92 cases of minor burns.
The recall affects gloves sold on QVC’s website, during their televised shows, and through other digital platforms from August 2018 to August 2024. Prices for these gloves ranged from $4 to $13 a pair. They come in various colors and patterns, with the label “Temp-tations by Tara” found inside the gloves. Consumers can identify the affected products by their model numbers, which include K51459, K76398, K47973, K48879, K85322, K96004, K92603, K308719, K309220, K309388, and K309516.
