Palmetto Bowl Scheduled for Noon on November 30
The much-anticipated Palmetto Bowl will take place at noon on November 30 at Memorial Stadium. Fans can catch the game live on ESPN.
This game marks the final matchup of the regular season for the South Carolina Gamecocks, who will travel to the Upstate to face their rivals, the Clemson Tigers. Historically, Clemson holds the edge in this rivalry with a record of 73 wins, 43 losses, and 4 ties. However, the Gamecocks managed a close victory in their last visit to Memorial Stadium in 2022, winning 31-30. The Tigers bested the Gamecocks last year in Columbia with a score of 16-7.
Both teams will also compete against in-state FCS opponents this week. South Carolina, currently ranked No. 19 with a record of 7-3 (5-3 SEC), will host Wofford (5-6, 3-5 SoCon) on November 23 at 4 PM at Williams-Brice Stadium. Meanwhile, Clemson, also ranked at No. 17 and sitting at 8-2 (7-1 ACC), will take on The Citadel (5-6, 3-5 SoCon) at 3:30 PM in Clemson.
The upcoming Palmetto Bowl is sure to be an exciting showdown as both teams look to end their regular seasons on a high note.
