According to the Sheriff’s Office, scammers are calling individuals and claiming they have an active arrest warrant issued against them. They then demand money to resolve the situation, making it seem urgent. The scammers sometimes send fake images of warrants that include a specific address, threatening arrest if the calls are disconnected.
