Te-Hina Paopao led the way for the Gamecocks with an impressive 23 points, while MiLaysia Fulwiley contributed 18 points off the bench, showcasing a strong performance for the team.
The Gamecocks, improving their season record to 2-0, shot 50% from the field, with Paopao and Fulwiley combining to hit 18 of 30 shots. For NC State, Zamareya Jones was the standout with 16 points, and Aziaha James added 13 points to their effort.

Despite NC State’s attempt to rally back and cut the lead to seven with just over four minutes left, they could not close the gap further.
