TD Synnex has announced the retirement of Bob Stegner, who has served as the senior vice president of marketing for North America. His last day with the company will be March 3, 2025, marking the end of a 17-year journey at the technology distribution firm.
Reyna Thompson, the North American president of TD Synnex, praised Stegner for his significant contributions and dedication to the company. She highlighted his role as a strong brand ambassador and noted his understanding of the important relationships built with the Greenville community.
During his tenure, Stegner led various community engagement efforts, including a program called Share the Magic. He has also served as president of South Carolina Charities Inc., which runs the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD Synnex. In recognition of his impact on the industry, he was inducted into the CompTIA IT Hall of Fame in 2020.
Jessica McDowell, a 16-year veteran at TD Synnex, has been chosen to take over Stegner’s position. Thompson expressed her excitement about McDowell stepping into this leadership role to advance the company’s marketing strategies and community involvement.
To ensure a smooth transition, Stegner will reduce his daily responsibilities starting December 1 before his official retirement. He plans to remain involved with TD Synnex as an advisor, offering support for the company’s charitable initiatives and long-term projects.
